ArcSolve AI은 Mac의 메뉴 막대에서 실행하는 앱입니다. 연결한 AI 클라이언트가 MCP로 Mac의 Apple 앱을 다루게 합니다.

앱 안에는 AI 모델이나 채팅이 없습니다. Claude Code, Codex 같은 MCP 클라이언트를 따로 준비합니다.

macOS 27 이상이 필요합니다. 지금은 Mac App Store 공개를 준비하고 있습니다. 설치 경로는 공개할 때 안내합니다.

캘린더 · 미리 알림 · 연락처 · 메모 · 메일 · 메시지 · 오디오(음성 메모) · 위치 · 알림

음성 메모는 사용자가 연결한 Recordings 폴더의 오디오 파일만 읽습니다. 음성 메모의 내부 데이터베이스, 전사, 클라우드에만 있는 녹음은 다루지 않습니다.

웹 수집 도구는 지정한 주소로 요청을 보내고 받은 내용을 정리합니다. 대상 서버는 IP 주소와 요청 내용을 받을 수 있습니다.

연결하기

연결하기 전에 AI 클라이언트의 데이터 전송·보관·학습 정책과 실행 승인 설정을 확인합니다. 요청 결과는 그 클라이언트로 전달되고, 클라우드 AI를 쓰면 그 제공자에게 전달될 수 있습니다.

ArcSolve AI을 엽니다. 앱은 메뉴 막대에 나타납니다.
처음 열리는 ArcSolve AI 설정 창에서 안내를 읽고 AI 클라이언트 연결 허용을 켭니다.
macOS가 백그라운드 허용을 요구하면 로그인 항목 설정 열기…를 눌러 허용합니다.
Mac 앱 권한에서 쓸 기능의 허용…만 누릅니다. 음성 메모는 음성 메모 메뉴의 음성 메모 연결…로 Recordings 폴더를 고릅니다.
메뉴의 에이전트에 추가에서 Claude Code… 또는 Codex…를 고릅니다. 처음 한 번 .claude.json 또는 config.toml 파일 접근을 허용합니다.
클라이언트의 세션을 다시 시작해 도구를 불러옵니다.

연결 관리…의 에이전트 연결 창에서 등록 상태를 보고 추가 / 다시 연결, 제거, 파일 선택…을 쓸 수 있습니다. 설정 파일이 없으면 클라이언트의 첫 설정을 먼저 마칩니다.

ArcSolve AI은 명령마다 확인 창을 띄우지 않습니다. 실행 승인은 AI 클라이언트가 관리합니다. 연결을 허용하면 같은 macOS 계정에서 내장 arcsolve를 실행하는 프로그램이 macOS 권한 안에서 도구를 호출할 수 있습니다.

다른 클라이언트

다른 MCP 클라이언트에는 아래 값을 직접 등록합니다. command는 앱을 설치한 실제 위치에 맞게 바꿉니다. 실제 연결에는 --fake를 넣지 않습니다.

설정 파일 위치와 다시 연결하는 방법은 클라이언트마다 다릅니다.

터미널에서 "/Applications/ArcSolve AI.app/Contents/Helpers/arcsolve" status를 실행하면 앱 연결 상태를 볼 수 있습니다. 연결 확인이 모든 도구의 권한과 실행 성공을 뜻하지는 않습니다.

해제하기

AI 클라이언트 연결 허용을 끕니다. 새 개인 앱 요청을 막고 백그라운드 서비스를 멈춥니다.
연결 관리…에서 제거를 누르거나 클라이언트에서 MCP 연결을 지웁니다.
음성 메모 폴더 접근은 음성 메모 메뉴의 연결 해제로 해제합니다.
macOS 권한은 시스템 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안에서 철회합니다.

ArcSolve AI 종료는 메뉴만 닫습니다. 백그라운드 서비스가 켜져 있으면 도구는 계속 동작합니다.

웹 수집은 연결 허용 설정과 별개로 동작합니다. 연결 허용을 꺼도 이미 열린 arcsolve mcp 연결의 웹 수집 도구와 독립 실행(arcsolve collect, arcsolve mcp --network-only)은 계속 쓸 수 있습니다. 완전히 끊으려면 클라이언트에서 MCP 연결을 지웁니다.

해제해도 이미 시작한 작업과 이미 전달한 정보는 되돌리지 않습니다. 외부 AI에 남은 대화와 데이터는 해당 서비스에서 지웁니다. 앱을 지워도 Apple 앱의 원본 기록은 지워지지 않습니다.

문제 해결

앱을 찾지 못함: command의 절대 경로와 공백을 확인합니다. 앱 안의 arcsolve를 씁니다.
연결 안 됨: 앱 실행, AI 클라이언트 연결 허용, 로그인 항목 허용을 확인합니다. 그다음 클라이언트를 다시 연결합니다.
권한 거부: ArcSolve AI 설정 창의 해당 허용…과 시스템 설정의 개인정보 보호 및 보안을 확인합니다.
음성 메모 접근 거부: Recordings 폴더를 다시 연결합니다. 연결한 폴더 밖의 경로와 심볼릭 링크는 열지 않습니다.
결과가 partial 또는 unknown: 일부만 실행했거나 결과가 불확실합니다. 같은 작업을 새 요청 ID로 바로 다시 실행하지 않습니다. 먼저 해당 Apple 앱에서 결과를 확인합니다.
앱을 종료해도 도구가 동작함: ArcSolve AI 종료는 메뉴만 닫습니다. AI 클라이언트 연결 허용을 끕니다.

데이터

Apple 앱의 정보를 다루는 앱 본체와 백그라운드 서비스에는 네트워크 권한이 없습니다. 앱은 처리한 정보를 ArcSolve로 보내지 않습니다.

ArcSolve AI is a menu bar app for Mac. It lets an AI client you connect use Apple apps on your Mac over MCP.

The app has no built-in AI model or chat. Use a separate MCP client such as Claude Code or Codex.

It requires macOS 27 or later. We are preparing the Mac App Store release. Installation steps will follow at release.

Voice Memos reads only the audio files in the Recordings folder you connect. It does not use the Voice Memos database, transcripts, or recordings that exist only in the cloud.

The web collection tool sends requests to addresses you specify and organizes the responses. Target servers may receive your IP address and the request content.

Connect

Before you connect, check your AI client's data transmission, retention, and training policies and its approval settings. Results go to that client, and to its provider if it uses a cloud AI service.

Open ArcSolve AI. It appears in the menu bar.
In the ArcSolve AI Settings window that opens first, read the notice and turn on Allow AI Client Connections.
If macOS asks to allow background activity, click Open Login Items Settings… and allow it.
Under Mac App Permissions, click Allow… only for the features you use. For Voice Memos, choose the Recordings folder with Connect Voice Memos….
From Add to Agent in the menu, choose Claude Code… or Codex…. The first time, allow access to .claude.json or config.toml.
Restart the client session to load the tools.

In the Agent Connections window from Manage Connections…, you can see the registration state and use Add / Reconnect, Remove, and Choose File…. If the configuration file does not exist, finish the client's own setup first.

ArcSolve AI does not ask for confirmation for each command. Your AI client manages execution approvals. While connections are allowed, any program in your macOS account that runs the embedded arcsolve can call the tools within your macOS permissions.

For another MCP client, register the values below yourself. Change command to where you installed the app. Do not add --fake for a real connection.

Each client has its own configuration location and reconnect steps.

Run "/Applications/ArcSolve AI.app/Contents/Helpers/arcsolve" status in Terminal to see the app connection state. A successful connection does not mean every tool has permission or will succeed.

Disconnect

Turn off Allow AI Client Connections. This blocks new personal-app requests and stops the background service.
Click Remove in Manage Connections…, or delete the MCP connection in your client.
Remove Voice Memos folder access with Disconnect under Voice Memos.
Revoke macOS permissions in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Quit ArcSolve AI closes only the menu. While the background service is on, the tools keep working.

Web collection works independently of the connection setting. After you turn off connections, the web collection tools in an open arcsolve mcp connection and standalone runs (arcsolve collect, arcsolve mcp --network-only) still work. To disconnect completely, delete the MCP connection in your client.

Disconnecting does not undo work already started or recall information already sent. Delete conversations and data kept by an external AI in that service. Deleting the app does not delete the original records in Apple apps.

Troubleshooting

App not found: Check the absolute command path and spaces. Use the arcsolve inside the app.
Cannot connect: Check that the app is running, Allow AI Client Connections is on, and the login item is allowed. Then reconnect the client.
Permission denied: Check the matching Allow in Settings and System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Voice Memos access denied: Connect the Recordings folder again. Paths outside the connected folder and symbolic links do not open.
Result is partial or unknown: Only part of the work ran, or the result is uncertain. Do not run the same work again right away with a new request ID. First check the result in the Apple app.
Tools still work after quitting: Quit ArcSolve AI closes only the menu. Turn off Allow AI Client Connections.

Data

The main app and the background service, which handle Apple app data, have no network entitlement. The app does not send the information it processes to ArcSolve.
