ArcSolve Engine은 Mac의 메뉴 막대에서 실행하는 앱입니다. 로컬 AI 모델을 사용자의 Mac에서 실행합니다.
같은 Mac의 에이전트가 MCP나 로컬 HTTP로 연결해 모델을 고르고 작업을 맡깁니다. 에이전트는 Engine이 받아들인 연결 자격으로 인증합니다.
첫 공개 범위는 아래 두 분류입니다. 분류마다 단계를 골라 씁니다.

Apple 실리콘 Mac과 macOS 27 이상이 필요합니다. Mac App Store로 배포하는 무료 앱입니다. 메뉴는 Mac의 언어 설정에 따라 한국어나 영어로 표시됩니다.
시작과 연결
앱을 열면 메뉴 막대에 Engine 아이콘이 생기고 서버가 바로 시작합니다. 처음 열 때 Engine이 연결 자격을 새로 만들고, 메뉴를 한 번 열어 아이콘 위치를 보여 줍니다. 앱 창은 없습니다.
메뉴 맨 위 상태 줄이 실행 중이면 에이전트가 연결할 수 있습니다. 메뉴에서 연결 정보 복사를 고르고, 복사한 주소와 연결 자격을 에이전트의 MCP나 HTTP 설정에 붙여 넣습니다. 연결 자격을 다른 사람에게 보내지 마세요.
복사한 내용은 아래 네 줄입니다. 에이전트의 MCP 설정에는 MCP 주소와 Authorization 헤더를 넣습니다. HTTP로 부르는 도구에는 주소와 같은 헤더를 넣습니다. 주소와 연결 자격은 복사한 값을 그대로 씁니다.

같은 연결 정보를 받은 에이전트는 서로의 작업과 결과를 볼 수 있습니다. 믿는 에이전트에게만 연결 정보를 주세요.
Engine은 같은 Mac 안의 연결만 받습니다. 다른 기기에서는 연결할 수 없습니다.
메뉴에서 종료를 고르면 진행 중인 작업이 취소되고, 작업 입력과 결과가 지워집니다. 결과를 계속 쓰려면 에이전트가 먼저 받아 두어야 합니다.
모델 설치
메뉴의 받아쓰기와 음성 합성 아래에 모델이 한 줄씩 있습니다. 각 줄 아래에 설치됨, 받을 크기, 받는 중 비율 같은 상태가 보입니다.
줄에 포인터를 올리고 받기를 고르면 그 크기만큼 받습니다. 받는 중에는 같은 자리에서 취소할 수 있습니다. 모델 정보에서 제작사, 라이선스, 필요한 메모리를 볼 수 있습니다.
모델 관리 권한이 있는 에이전트도 설치를 요청할 수 있습니다. App Store에서 받은 Engine은 그 모델 줄에 에이전트가 요청함을 표시합니다. 알림을 허용했다면 알림도 보냅니다. 사용자가 받기를 고를 때만 받고, 거절하면 받지 않습니다.
에이전트가 처음 모델을 요청할 때 macOS가 알림 허용을 묻습니다. 허용하지 않아도 메뉴의 그 모델 줄에서 받거나 거절할 수 있습니다.
메모리 주의는 그 모델이 이 Mac 메모리의 절반 넘게 쓴다는 뜻입니다. 쓸 수는 있습니다. 이 Mac에서 쓸 수 없음은 메모리가 부족하다는 뜻이며, 그 줄은 흐리게 보이고 받을 수 없습니다.
앱은 카탈로그에 있는 모델만 받습니다. App Store에서 받은 Engine은 모델을 Apple의 서버에서 받습니다. 받은 파일은 정해 둔 해시와 맞을 때만 설치합니다.
모델 지우기
설치된 모델 줄에 포인터를 올리고 지우기…를 고른 뒤 확인 창에서 지우기를 누르면 Engine이 모델 파일과 설치 기록을 지웁니다. 지운 모델은 메뉴에서 다시 받을 수 있습니다. 모델 관리 권한이 있는 에이전트도 지우기를 요청할 수 있습니다.
작업이 그 모델을 쓰는 동안에는 지우지 않습니다. 작업이 끝난 뒤 다시 지웁니다.
데이터 위치
모델 파일, 작업 입력과 결과는 Mac에 있습니다. 모델 처리도 Mac 안에서 합니다.
앱은 입력·결과·연결 정보를 ArcSolve로 보내지 않습니다. 결과는 작업을 맡긴 연결 자격으로 돌려줍니다. 같은 연결 정보를 받은 에이전트는 서로의 작업과 결과를 볼 수 있습니다.
강제 종료처럼 Engine이 정상적으로 끝나지 못하면 작업 파일이 남을 수 있습니다. 다음 시작 때 남은 작업 파일과 받다 만 모델 묶음을 정리합니다. 정리에 실패하면 파일이 남을 수 있습니다.

문제 해결
- 상태 줄이 다시 시작으로 바뀜
- Engine이 스스로 다시 시작하지 못했습니다. 다시 시작을 고릅니다. 계속되면 문의해 주세요.
- 이 Mac에서 쓸 수 없음
- 이 Mac의 메모리로는 그 모델을 실행할 수 없습니다. 같은 분류의 더 가벼운 단계를 고릅니다.
- 설치가 디스크 공간 때문에 실패함
- Mac의 저장 공간을 비운 뒤 다시 설치합니다.
- 받지 못함 (인터넷 연결 확인)
- 인터넷 연결을 확인하고 받기를 다시 고릅니다.
- 받지 못함 (서버 문제)
- 모델 서버에서 받지 못했습니다. 잠시 뒤 받기를 다시 고릅니다.
- 버전 확인
- 메뉴에서 ArcSolve Engine에 관하여를 고르면 버전이 보입니다. 문의할 때 함께 적어 주세요.

About
ArcSolve Engine is a Mac app that runs in the menu bar. It runs local AI models on your Mac.
Agents on the same Mac connect through MCP or local HTTP, choose a model and give it work. An agent authenticates with a connection credential that Engine accepts.
The first release covers the two categories below. Each category offers tiers to choose from.

Engine requires a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 27 or later. It is a free app distributed through the Mac App Store. The menu appears in English or Korean, following the language setting of your Mac.
Start and connect
When you open the app, the Engine icon appears in the menu bar and the server starts at once. On the first launch, Engine creates a new connection credential and opens its menu once to show where the icon is. The app has no window.
When the status line at the top of the menu shows Running, agents can connect. Choose Copy Connection Info and paste the copied address and credential into the agent's MCP or HTTP settings. Do not send the credential to other people.
The copied text has the four lines below. In your agent's MCP settings, enter the MCP address and the Authorization header. For tools that call HTTP, enter the address and the same header. Use the copied address and credential as they are.

Authorization: Bearer <credential>The clipboard item stays on this Mac. It does not go to your other devices through Universal Clipboard.
Agents that share the connection details can access each other's jobs and results. Give them only to agents you trust.
Engine accepts only connections from the same Mac. Other devices cannot connect.
When you choose Quit ArcSolve Engine, running jobs are cancelled and job input and results are deleted. To keep a result, the agent must download it first.
Installing models
The menu lists one row per model under Speech to Text and Text to Speech. Below each row you see its state, such as installed, the download size or the download percentage.
Point to a row and choose Download to download that size. While it downloads, choose Cancel in the same place to stop. Model Info shows the creator, the license and the memory the model needs.
An agent with model management permission can also request an install. Engine from the App Store then shows Requested by an agent on that row and, if you allowed notifications, sends a notification. Engine downloads only when you choose Download. If you choose Decline, nothing is downloaded.
macOS asks you to allow notifications the first time an agent requests a model. Even if you do not allow them, you can download or decline on that model's row in the menu.
Memory warning means the model uses more than half of this Mac's memory. You can still use it. Not available on this Mac means there is not enough memory. That row is dimmed and cannot be downloaded.
The app downloads only models in its catalog. Engine from the App Store downloads models from Apple's servers. Engine installs downloaded files only when they match fixed hashes.
Removing models
Point to an installed row, choose Remove…, and confirm with Remove. Engine deletes the model files and the install record. You can download a removed model again from the menu. An agent with model management permission can also request removal.
Engine does not remove a model while a job uses it. Remove it again after the job ends.
Where data stays
Model files, job input and results stay on your Mac. Models also run on your Mac.
The app does not send input, results or connection information to ArcSolve. Engine returns a result under the connection credential that requested the job. Agents that share the connection details can access each other's jobs and results.
If Engine cannot end normally, for example after a force quit, job files can remain. At the next start, Engine cleans up remaining job files and partly downloaded model packs. If cleanup fails, files can remain.

Troubleshooting
- The status line shows Restart
- Engine could not restart by itself. Choose Restart. If it keeps happening, contact us.
- Not available on this Mac
- This Mac does not have enough memory for that model. Choose a lighter tier in the same category.
- Install failed because of disk space
- Free up storage on your Mac and install again.
- Download failed (check your internet connection)
- Check your internet connection and choose Download again.
- Download failed (server problem)
- Engine could not download from the model server. Choose Download again later.
- Checking the version
- Choose About ArcSolve Engine in the menu to see the version. Include it when you contact us.
